Some of the most inspirational voices you will ever hear, The Harlem Gospel Choir is composed of the finest singers and musicians from various black churches in Harlem. The Choir brings a message of love, peace and harmony for thousands of people from various nations, backgrounds and cultures. Founded in 1986 by Allen Bailey, who has helped promote the careers of Michael Jackson, Lionel Richie and Prince, The Harlem Gospel Choir has performed for the Pope and sung “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For” with U2 (Bono hailed them as “angels in Harlem”). Devoted to making the world a more loving and peaceful place, The Harlem Gospel Choir brings people and nations together, touching the depths of the soul and raising spirits to angelic heights with their music and performances. The follow up to the choir’s 2003-4 Give Peace a Chance Tour, the singers are embarking on the God Bless the Child world tour, during which they’ll be working with children’s charities whenever possible.
