For over 35 years Will Millar took his Irish Rover group around the world with music, dance,
songs and lots of laughter. With songs like The Unicorn, Black Velvet Band and Wasn’t that a
Party they made the rafters ring everywhere from Carnegie Hall in New York to the Sydney Opera
House in Australia. The Unicorn sold almost 9 million records worldwide. Their long running
CBC Television Show became a household fixture through the 70’s.
To celebrate the spirit of Ireland, Will Millar has assembled a cast of world renown musicians and
one of the best Irish dancers on the planet. As if Will Millar himself wasn't enough to bring out the
Irish in everyone, the show also stars the gorgeous Kathleen Keane, who is a force of nature - a
champion step-dancer and fiddler, a singer and a master of the Irish whistle (Kathleen played in
the band in the blockbuster movie TITANIC). The audience will be thrilled by the high-stepping,
heart-pounding excitement of the Irish dance champion Philip Brady (he performed for two years
with Michael Flattley's Lord of the Dance). Will Millar's Ireland also presents Martin Nolan who
travels all the way from Dublin to perform on the uilleann pipes. Martin Nolan is considered the
best in the world on this uniquely beautiful instrument.
Will Millar's Ireland is two hours of song and dance and stories which will have the audience
laughing, singing, clapping and shouting in a "fierce evening of fun!".
