The Approach

The Approach has been in operation for about a year and a half; the trio as it exists at present, brought together a year or so prior in 2000 to perform and record Donkey Engine material. Marty Rollins and Daryl Kirkham were listeners of the DE, and when i needed some help getting out of my garage and on to some local stages, they were the obvious choice. we played some shows throughout 2000-01, and recorded a 6 song e.p. I returned to school in fall 2000 and my musical output fell off considerably. Yet Marty, who'd been holding down guitar duties in Closed Caption Radio, had a wealth of songs he wanted to try so we started playing those. Thus, the groundwork for The Approach was laid, and a recording of those songs in spring 02 cemented the venture. So, we're kinda two bands in one... this one's kinda new... we hope you enjoy it.
