Freddy Cole Quartet

Freddy Cole is one of the most revered male vocalists working in jazz today. Also a hip piano player, Cole captivates audiences with his elegant presence, subtle phrasing, and intimate singing style. He is the younger brother of the legendary Nat King Cole, and though there are certain unmistakable similarities between the two siblings, Freddy’s voice is raspier, smokier, and jazzier. Indeed, his phrasing is far closer to that of Frank Sinatra or Billie Holiday, and he swings a little more.
