ZMF Trio

Trio, a unique blend of classic
free jazz, contemporary
composition, and spirited improvisation. This end-of-the-alphabet
band includes celebrated
Vancouver violinist and multiple
Juno award-winner Jesse Zubot,
New York bassist extraordinaire
Joe Fonda (Archie Shepp, Kenny
Barron, Billy Bang) and Toronto
drummer Jean Martin (who has
played with such notables as DD
Jackson and Don Byron). Jesse
and Joe have just released Circle
the Path, but a live performance
is by far the best way to
appreciate the power and fluency
of this fantastically exciting trio.
