Karima Heredia

Karima Heredia Galvan, contributes the vibrancy of Mexico to the Victoria art community. With her scholarship-funded 2017 Diploma of Fine Arts from the Vancouver Island School of Art she continues to explore the many facets of the human body. Through the medium of mixed media, she examines the physical, emotional, energetic, and spiritual components of our body. Heredia’s mind-body connection considers her romantic relationships, family, culture, and arduous brain tumor recovery. She recently exhibited her work in an art collective and continues to elevate the Victoria art scene with her personal flare.
