Management
Artist Manager - Patricia Conroy
Immediately after attending college (VCC and Capilano College music departments) I started working
with Patricia Conroy. We initially formed a band in 1984, which led to me managing her as a solo artist.
I managed her career for 8 years up until she signed with Warner Canada, during which I facilitated getting her a national level manager, producer and lawyer, with whom I negotiated her contract with Warners.
In addition to being either at various points her guitarist, bassist or audio technician, I was also the road manager for her live performances. These included appearances on CBC (Tommy Hunter, etc), Much Music, in Nashville and at major festivals throughout Canada. Patricia won a Juno award in 1994.

Recording Studio Manager - Bullfrog Studios
Managed daily business while remaining in close liaison with the owners. Oversaw staff of 2 receptionists, 6 recording engineers plus 3 engineers for the duplication facility. I initiated a CD replication program and a contra program for complete refurbishing & repainting of the premises. I also designed and revamped all of their promotional literature & advertising, did graphic design for clients and worked closely with a contracted graphic designer for the CD replication artwork.
