RnR is a collaboration between Ray Spencer and Randall Cook bringing together sounds and songs from different genres and generations. RnR is often described as Willie Nelson meets Thom York (of Radiohead fame).
Ray returned to music later in life and began performing for audiences of all sizes both in local bands and as a solo artist. He has been working at a recording project with a CD on the horizon. He loves to write original songs and would like to think of himself as a story teller.
Randall brings a unique perspective to the project having been in several cover bands since 2000 and being 100% self-taught. He prefers to select more obscure but beautiful cover songs, and has several unique and complex originals.
RnR is best suited for small to mid-sized venues with basic amplification: their sound is very vocal and harmony-heavy with occasional instrumental breaks. At an RnR show you will hear some old classics and discover new favourites.
For physical events that happen at a specific time. For example a concert, or dance performance. If there are multiple shows, you can still duplicate your event to cover them all.
