The Racket - Vancouver

The Racket has been together since early 2010 and is gaining fan base all over the Lower Mainland. We love to play live shows and always get crowds on their feet. Our contrasting male and female vocals, sweet synth, rocking guitar, bass and solid drums all come together as a synth rock/pop feel. Valerie Miller (synth/lead vocals) who, being the only girl of four members, often feels she has not one boyfriend but three. Jackson Hilts (bass/lead vocals), Mark Edwards (guitar/backing vocals) and James Sleightholme (drums) are the lucky gentlemen who also take to the stage. The Racket has played multiple venues around the lower mainland, favorites being "The Vogue", "Joe's Apartment" and "The Railway Club" in Vancouver. Over the past few months, we have been inspired to push ourselves harder, and plan to do whatever it takes to be the best we can be and get our music out there. We love performing, writing original songs, and most of all our love and passion for music carries us forward. .
