The HARD ROCK MINERS' foot-stomping Canadian rockabilly is a contagious blend of rhythm and humour that will have you both dancing and laughing your ass off. Formed in 1987 by Michael Turner, who also authored the novels Hard Core Logo, American Whiskey Bar and The Pornographer's Poem, The Hard Rock Miners' eccentric alt-country-punksters are a veritable who's who of local luminaries who play in or have founded bands like Ford Pier, The Highballs, Royal Grand Prix, The Come Ons, and many more!
