Pilar Alvarez

Pilar (Pili) Alvarez launched her career first as a tattoo artist and shortly there-after attended fashion school, leading to designing costumes for events all across the country. During her fashion studies, Pilar’s illustrations developed into an obsession. This branched into acrylic painting and computer arts. Her paintings have received media attention through several exhibitions and commissioned murals and paintings. She participated in many art shows at the Tart Gallery, and several other local venues. Pilar’s computer knowledge has enabled her to expand her professional career into many arenas including screenprints, cd covers, flyers, tattoos, downloadable art, packaging, and enhanced digital photography, and promotional programs.
