About

The Lost Fingers

This 2009 twice Juno-nominated (“Fan Choice Award” and “Album of the Year”) acoustic trio from Quebec draws its primary inspiration from gypsy jazz icon Django Reinhardt. The Lost Fingers’ debut album, Lost in the 80s, has already achieved platinum-plus status in Canada with sales over 100,000 within Quebec alone!

A huge draw in their home province, the band thrilled Canadian jazz festival audiences, including Victoria, across the country last summer with their witty and jazzed-up renditions of hits by the likes of AC/DC "You Shook Me", Michael Jackson "Billie Jean", Stevie Wonder "Part-Time Lover", Hall & Oates "Man-eater", George Michael "Careless Whisper", Bon Jovi "You Give Love a Bad Name" and more! Throw in tunes by Django Reinhardt like "Swing 42", "Blue Drag", and "Minor Swing" and some classic French folk songs that you can’t help but sing along to, and you’ve got hugely talented artists fashioning a performance that’s hilarious, offbeat and incredibly fun to listen to.
