KINNIE STARR - FEED THE FIRE (lyric video)

Title track from Kinnie Starr's latest album, Feed the Fire.

Kinnie Starr on the genesis of this song:
"When I was a child, I used to slip away from my mother as storms came in across the water in Ontario where my grandfather’s log cabin stands to this day in Oeundat territory. I used to feel calmest where the winds met, and I still love winds, and storms. I learned in casual conversation in my adult life that some eastern nish people say the wind is our ancestors. When I learned this, it felt like I had always known it intrinsically."
