This documentary explores Cory Scott's unique style of painting and the path he took to finding it.

After a combined eight years living in the cities of Vancouver, Perth, and Sydney, Cory returned to Victoria in 2017. Since then Cory has pursued the art he calls Urban Escapism, an integration of his daydreaming nature, his love of the natural world, and his desire to find beauty in even the most concrete of places. The goal? To re-imagine the world in an idyllic way where plants and animals regain their natural place of prominence while simultaneously celebrating the beauty and art embedded in our urban lives.
