Event Description
Taylor Caspersen is a young singer/songwriter born and raised in Sooke, BC. He is locally known for his fiery passion for performing and writing music. His passion for music started with drums and percussion at the age of 4, and quickly it morphed into a full-on addiction to any instrument he could get his hands on: starting with the guitar at age 10, then piano, organ, banjo, bass, ukulele, harmonica, mandolin, and more. He is also the friendly host of the Kemp Lake Music Cafe’s Sunday open mic and jam, having hosted it bi-weekly for almost 4 years. Taylor has set-up a home studio in Shirley, BC and is now working on his debut album - coming soon. He is also trying his hand at producing music for some of his close friends. His musical genres range from classic rock, blues and funk to acoustic and folk.
For this performance at the intimate HillTop House Concerts venue, Taylor will be joined by the awesome Scary Harry Somers on bass, and the groovin' Sherie Welsford on cajon.
Doors open at 7:30PM and the show begins at 8PM.
Light refreshments served. By donation at the door.

Directions: On Otter Point Road after passing the Sooke Firehall, take a left turn onto Foreman Heights Drive. Then, at the stop sign take a left onto Mountain Heights Drive. Second driveway on your left, with lots of signage!
