Motifs April 15, 2006
Don Crocker and Tony McBride will be guests April 23 on CFAX 1070 AM radio as we go back to the Contemporary/Pop music history of Oak Bay. We'll be rattling the teacups behind the tweed curtain as we talk about the first Club Tango above Oak Bay Theatre, Sound Source Music on Cadboro Bay Road, one of Canada's original music publications and even a "live recording" from Allenby St. in 1966.
But before all that happens, here's a riddle:
What does Little Richard, W & J Wilson Clothiers and Victoria's first rock & roller have in common?
The answer will be delivered to the chosen few on our mailing list as we release "The Peace" our on-line E Zine's spring edition tomorrow. Want to get your copy? Just send us an e mail with the header "The Peace" and you'll get your's.
