Is This Your Jacket? November 1, 2013

In the last 12 years that the Royal City Music Project website has been online, we've reunited friends, band mates, and families so let's give this one a try. In 1961-1962, "Mad' Mel Potts and his partner Rob Macadam operated Canada's first pirate radio station called KITN Radio from Victoria. Fast forward to the late 1960's and Mel opened up an upscale clothing store in Vancouver's "Gastown" called Bad Boys Ragge Shoppe. In our website's gallery it show's a rare photo taken there of the Beach Boys by Gary Wilcox. Rare in that Mel would normally not allow camera's in the store allowing for customer privacy. The ladies section of the store was called the "Bird Cage". Fast forward again to October 2013 when we received the following e-mail :
"Hi,
This is a very long shot, but I was doing some research about a jacket that I had recently bought at a second hand clothes shop in Bangor, North Wales, UK, and upon searching the details on the label (Bad Boys Ragge Shoppe, Vancouver Canada) your website was the only related link I could come across. I was just wondering if you had any more information about the company at all, and also if the jacket would be worth holding on to or selling, as I have no idea how valuable it may be and was just intrigued to find out a little more about the company, as it may well have lived an interesting life before winding up in North Wales of all places!
Any help or information would be more than brilliant!
