Summertime May 1, 2013

There's been a lot of emphasis on the local blues scene lately which is always a good thing. A movement is under foot to promote musical vacationing in Victoria. Imagine packing your bags and instruments and travelling to the most beautiful place in the world to listen to and play music. If the Juno Awards can't find their way here, doesn't mean we can't invite world class musicians on our own. Local jam sessions have been enjoying multiple Grammy and Juno award winning musicians sitting in and bringing the musical quality up a very noticable notch with local societys producing more and more "Sold Out" events. Let the invitations begin. Today's picture is blues singer "Summmer" who with her band "The Sinners", hosts the Saturday Jam from 3:00pm to 7:00pm every week at My Bar on the Gorge.
