Holy Smoke February 9, 2012
The band
Holy Smoke and previously
Frendlin Page were mainstays of the Victoria rock & roll scene from the 1960's to 1977. Easter weekend in 2005, the band came together for what some consider their final re-union, "The Last Tango Part III" . As a tribute to the group, the Royal City Music Project and
Steve Poole from Lazarus Productions produced a 20 minute biography and played it before they performed that night. This video has sat, unavailable until now. So from 12:00 noon today until 12:00 noon February 15, enjoy these musical memories and magical times for many of us late Victoria baby boomers. Today's picture is Royal City Music Project founder Glenn Parfitt interviewing co-founder
Ross Damude in July of 2002. This was our first day capturing information and stories. Photo was taken in
Tim Zurowski's kitchen.
Today's band additions:
Slim and The Dusters 1995 ,
The Reefers and
Living Proof
