Remembering Gary Sawin

Gary Passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 13, 2011 surrounded by his wife and children at the age of 58 years young. Predeceased by his loving family Leon and Lillian Sawin, Allen Sawin, and Terry McDonald. He is survived by Debbie, his beloved wife of 34 years. He leaves behind his daughters Renita (Tony), Cherise (Kelly), and Amelia (Mitch); son Jeremy (Thea); granddaughters Willow, Ashly, and Shyla; and nieces and nephews Robert, Steven, Deborah, Joseph, and Alissa. He will dearly be missed and always remembered for his love of music and the ocean. A memorial and reception will be held Saturday, March 19, 2011 at the Admirals Legion from 1PM-5PM. (Times Colonist)
