Take Four January 31, 2011

Popular group from the 1960's was the "Take Four" featuring bassist Cal Batchelor. They were one of the earliest rock & roll bands to play the Empress Hotel's Crystal Ballroom and regulars at the Club Tango opening for acts like Don and the Goodtimes and others. Our thanks to Don Crocker who pulled another rabbitt out of his hat with some memories of them and his band "The Motifs.
