Progressive Artists Society April 3, 2010
A genuine audio treasure arrived in the mail thanks to Jean Glover. A cassette tape from a record of the Buddy Glover Trio broadcast by CKDA "Live" from the Progressive Artists Society located at 1306 Wharf St. What year was this recorded? How about 1959 ... wow! It'll take a while to transfer all of it to digital but in todays update, you'll get a 35 second snipett of the intro. Your support of the Royal City Music Project and the Victoria Music Hall of Fame ensure's this and other historic recordings are restored, preserved and archived. Have you bought your dance tickets yet? Todays feature picture is Buddy Glover on piano at the "Sirocco Club", View St.
