Todays feature picture is St. Michaels University School, the location of a 1981 movie titled "Ups and Downs" but was released in the U.S. as "Prep School".This teen comedy/drama, set in a Canadian boarding school, is about growing up while being thrown together in school rooms and residences. Conflicts and passions arise as the teens try to handle issues like a mother dying of cancer, prejudice, the agony of physical "defects," and other more or less debilitating problems. The band who performs in this movie is "The Keys"

Get your dancin' shoes on cause "Lightning" Len Siemens and Ernie Niederer have secured the Prince Edward Legion (Langford Legion) Auditorium for a Victoria Music Hall of Fame fundraiser and dance on Saturday April 24, 2010. Both Lightning Express and Cruel Shoes Rock "N" Blues Band will perform with some "special guests" sitting in throughout the evening.
