Melrose Blues January 6, 2010
Todays audio addition comes from the band Sugar Cane. The song "Melrose Blues" is the last recording on a "Live" CD, sent in by Ray Luxemburg. Was the song named after the greasy spoon located in the 600 block of Yates St. one block south of "Scotts Fine Foods", both regular haute's for those late night, after the gig, plates of fries & gravy? Todays feature picture of Sugar Cane was taken on the benchs at Cameron Bandshell in Beacon Hill Park (L-R) Ross Milnthorp, Brian Pannell, Bob Geddes, Ray Luxemburg, Tim Zurowski and Brian Eccles
