CFMS 98.5 September 30. 2009

What started as CKDA FM in 1955 became CFMS 98.5. March 1, 1965 with "Full FM Stereo", the first on Vancouver Island. Todays picture is a very young & slim Gordie Tupper from 1965 who was one of the one air personalities. Also, another fresh faced announcer named Gil Harris who moved to Vancouver and became "Doc" Harris. Our thanks again to Michael Easton (his picture is also in there) for some more Victoria radio history.

Todays profile & gallery addition: CFMS (look under bands for the profile)

Todays profile update: The Continentals
