Located on Quadra @ Burdett St., Christ Church Cathedral opened in 1929. The architect was Mr. J.C.M. Keith and it was built by Parfitt Brothers Construction, both from Victoria. Some of the numerous Parfitt Brothers built landmarks include Bay St. Armouries, George Jay Elementary, the Victoria Visitor Information building on Wharf St. and many others.

Listen in to CFAX 1070 this Saturday afternoon between 1:00pm and 2:00pm as the award winning history show "Remember When" is guest hosted by Glenn Parfitt, who with his brothers Dewayne and Daryl, tell the story about the 5 English musicians who starting in 1889, packed up their violins, cellos and trowels, travelled to North America, and discovered Victoria making it their home and creating some of the city's original orchestra's and choirs. This is music history like nothing you'll find anywhere else.
