OBYC October 4, 2007

OBYC stands for Oak Bay Youth Council and in 1969, the council president was Ron Wright who decided that it was time to take things up a notch and booked in some incredible talent during the day including the Poppy Family, Guess Who, Seeds of Time, Papa Bears Medicine Show and others. This was the start of Ron's career in the business which took him through the Club Tango View St., The Bacchanalia Club in Esquimalt, Vancouver Island Promotions, Bront Productions, Sweeney Todd, Olys Cabaret, High Rollers Skating Rink and many more to numerous to mention. Our thanks to Ron for all the great memories.
