What a great shot sent to us by Ed Simpson-Baikie of a "Be-In" held at Beacon Hill Park in 1967. Here's what he had to say: " I received an email recently from Andy Godon with a picture of As Sheriff taken by Peter Lohr; I think it was in 1967, at the very first be-in in Beacon Hill Park - I remember it well, although I felt as fuzzy as I look over there on stage left.......with Harry Creech, Reid Hudson and Andy. We started with one of our free jam numbers; as the tempo and intensity chilled out, Michael Castro the flute player from the Fast Flying Vestibule, who just happened to be in town, stepped up on stage and took a solo. It was a magic moment - and typical of the times".
