Cha Cha Cha October 13, 2006

Nice sombrero's on Gary Lee (LeMarquand) and The Group at the View St. location of Club Tango. Musta got them from the Mexican Shop at the corner of Fisgard and Douglas St. (remember that one*). How about a more recent memory like the lost video tape of "A Night at The Tango", April 9, 2004. The first couple of full song clips have been posted. Our thanks to Bill Underwood from the Strathcona Hotel for being heads up by locating the tape and of course to Steve Poole at Lazarus-Productions for the digital transfer. Look for a couple more clips to be added over the next while. Did you want to see the whole thing? Then I suggest you grab a non-perishable food item and head down to Darcy's Pub, Sunday December 3 cause that's when we debut the entire evening's performances by all four bands. Doors open at 11:30am with music by Cruel Shoes Rockin' Blues Band kicking off at 1:00p. Get there early, get a seat, have some lunch, watch "A Night at the Tango" and then party with the band, too easy, too much fun.

Todays video additions: Invasion (Heartbeat) and Morningstar (Blues with a Feeling) from "A Night at the Tango"

CFAX 1070 AM's show "Remember When" will be hosted this Sunday, October 15th by the Royal City Music Project's Glenn Parfitt with special guest, 2005 Victoria Rock & Roll Music, Hall of Fame inductee Barry Casson. Listen in starting at 2:05pm and you might just win a free lunch at Darcy's Pub when we play Victoria history trivia.

There are just 4 copies left of the Pharaohs DVD compilation. You can still order and have it delivered to your home by calling Steve at Lazarus Productions 250-380-1854 'cause once the're gone, the master goes back into the vault for a long time.

* There's a picture of the Mexican Shop in the gallery section under "The Emotions" ... Thanks George Kilvington.
