Wilf Carter August 29, 2006
Wilf Carter and Hank Snow have long been considered the godfathers of Canadian Country Music so it was no wonder that Wilf would call upon Norm Winquist and his band to accompany him at the Memorial Arena in 1966. Todays picture of Norm and Wilf was taken backstage before the show. Our thanks to Diane Winquist for the pic, Ron Attfield for the sound bite and Steve Poole for the digital transfer.
