It's Hall of Famer Wayne Budd in todays picture on the front steps of Victoria's first rock & roll rehearsal house on Torquay Drive in Saanich. It was the Budd family home where The Pharaohs rehearsed in the livingroom and Wayne with buddies like Brian Newcombe and others played in the basement.The story goes that a young David Foster would drop by to watch some of the sessions and would eventually sit in on the occasional song.
