Guitarist wanting to "get back into it"

| JS User Info... | I'm a 36yr old Guitarist who's getting back into playing after too many years spent not playing. I am looking for some "amateurs" like myself to get together and jam with regularly. I enjoy playing blues, rock and I'm starting to play more acoustic/electric material (folk/rock?) - especially the more-recent work of Mark Knopfler (Boom, Like That - Darling Pretty). I'm also very much open to playing original material of any band-mates as well. Skill-wise I consider myself an Intermediate-Amateur lead guitarist, although I don't have much experience playing in band. Ideally I'd like to find a few other mature musicians that would like to get together weekly at one of the local rehearsal studios and jam it up.
