Curious George So I got my hydro bill today, and with it comes a panflet entitled, "Marijuana Grow-Ops: A Growing Hazard". It is an "important public safety message", that informs us, the hydro-rate setting public, about such usefull facts as what a grow op is ("an illegal enterprise in which marijuana plants are raised to maturity and then sold for a profit."), and how to spot one (covered windows, condensation on windows, bright lights, and smells and odours of growing marijuana, excessive security). This is crap man. It talks about all the dangers, like fire, violence, damage to homes, electrocutions, and environmental damage, totally pushing the threat of it happening to the reader. Blech. This is as bad as that RCMP Guide to Ravers they put out a little while ago. (Go to the links page on http://www.rave.victoria.bc.ca). Anyways, just needed to vent. - Wed, 14 May 2003 9:02pm
Anonymous If the cops weren't so fucking stupid they could find grow ops themselves. - Wed, 14 May 2003 11:46pm
