If everyone would turn off their Guitar Heroes and Rock Bands, and instead pick up the actual instruments that they are "pretending" to play, this post would be overflowing with responses. Seriously though if you are reading this and you have never been in a band before and you know you are good (not just cos your mom said you are... she has to say that she loves you) then break out of your shell and come try out. Sure we would love to hire someone who has tonnes of experience but if you are in fact a good player and seem to have your act together of course we would be open to giving you a shot.
