| mikepaths User Info... | I am interested in finding people to put together a live lineup of my currently solo black/doom metal project Paths. If it goes well I would like to keep it as a full band for recording as well. It has thus far been a weird sort of psychedelic black metal, but I am keen to add some new influences to the sound. In particular I want to add more of the sludgey post-hardcore of bands like Neurosis, Isis, Fall of Efrafa, Amenra, Downfall of Gaia, Vestiges etc. Maybe throw in some crust influence to, of the Amebix, Axegrinder, Filth of Mankind variety. As far as black metal influences, I love the classic first wave and Norwegian 2nd wave stuff, along with newer bands like Deafheaven, Panopticon, Cobalt, Nachtmystium,... If this mix of influences sound interesting to you, then please get in touch. I am mainly looking for a drummer and bass player, but am open to the idea of a second guitar player, as well as someone to play synth and make weird spacey noises and such. I do not currently have a jam space, so if you know of one that would be a huge help.
