| Aidan Logins User Info... | Anyone want to start a Shaggs cover band with me? I'll play any of the instruments, we'd need bass/drums/guitar with two of those singing. Ability to play is a big issue (as you have to be able to sound like you can't play, which is really hard). I think this would be a major accomplishment for music. I mean, The Shaggs were infamous. Frank Zappa said they were better than the Beatles. He's probably right. But to actually COVER the Shaggs would be a feat beyond coming up with something that sounded like The Shaggs. If we could pull off the same "notes" and "time signatures" on purpose as they did accidentaly- wow. It could be powerful. Who's in? - Mon, 31 Dec 2007 1:34pm | ||
