| basshole User Info... | Looking for either an already working band or other players (guitar, keyboard, drums) to start something up with. I have a lot of stage & recording experience. Preferably I'm seeking an original band who share the creative process. I would be OK with some covers or ALL covers if they pay was good. I'm into: - groove rock - hiphop/triphop & other 'urban' styles - funk-jazz (eg medeski martin & wood, headhunters) - groovy funk (ie The new mastersounds, the meters) - post/alt rock (eg kasabian, tortoise, kings of leon) - deep dubby stuff - acid jazz - heavier funky/groovy stuff (eg rage against the machine) - groovy jamband ... and most other things. What I want to avoid: - country - folk - basic rock & roll - really heavy stuff (ie metal) I don't mind these above things to be influences, I just don't want it to be the focus. | Mike User Info... | Currently looking for a bass player to fill the slot in an accoustic/electric music project. So far there are two of us including electric banjo. Like the Headhunters reference!
