Looking for muusicians who would like to play Post- Punk, Pre- New Wave like The Cure, The Clash, Iggy Pop, Siouxsie & the Banshees, Joy Division, etc. for love or (preferably) money. I have no idea if there is any kind of audience for this music, but damn it's fun to play!

I play bass and rythm guitar, but I am more interested in fronting. If you're interested please e-mail or call Anthony @ 217-5792. - Sun, 26 Aug 2007 2:12pm Edited: Sun, 26 Aug 2007 2:14pm

Are you talking covers, or making music influenced by these bands? - Sun, 26 Aug 2007 9:16pm

Well, I'm not really much good at the whole song writing thing myself, so I'd be looking at mostly covers to get things started. Of course if someone has originals to bring in, I'm all for that too. - Sun, 26 Aug 2007 9:27pm

I sing and compose music. Influences: Massive Attack, TV on the Radio, Interpol, Cure, PJ Harvey, old spirituals/ doo wop, Depeche Mode (mid-career stuff). I'm composing using midi "virtual" instruments, so it presently sounds quite sterile (needs to be re-recorded to rock out more). If you're into playing bass and harmonizing (2, 3, and 4 part harmonies) I'd be into getting together to see if there's enough common interest.
