| girlnspired User Info... | Hey there, I'm 23, femme and on the Keys. Also can sing a little and compose. I'm looking for other people who think making music is fun and fulfilling. I'm not egotistical or fake and I'm not interested in anyone who is. Anyone into starting something new together? Any bands out there in need of Keys? I am inspired by all categories of music but if I had to say I would list the following as influences: Smashing Pumpkins (Meloncholy and the Infinate Sadness and Adora), My Chemical Romance, These arms are snakes, Armin Van Buuren, Paul Van Dyke, Chopin and some J-Rock such as Buck-Tick, Malice Mizer, Gackt, L'arc~en~Ciel and Luna Sea. | Michael User Info... | I am moving back to Victoria in May, seeking to form a band/collective or join an existing project. Looking for someone to cut and paste multiple percussion styles in a live setting (and to record also) as well as a keyboardist. I am a mid-30's vocalist/songwriter, and have a guitarist who will be in Victoria periodically. Darker but soulful heavy electronica-influenced sound, lush harmonies (some acapella) so singing ability is a plus. Influences: TV On the Radio, Interpol, Massive Attack, Tricky, Chemical Brothers, Dandy Warhols, Cure, Joy Division, old Spirituals/Gospel, 50's Doo-wop, PJ Harvey, Cocteau Twins, Dead Can Dance, Fado, Spiritualized, Gregorian Chant, Middle Eastern music of all sorts.
