First Wave Emo, anyone?

| dreux User Info... | So I've already got a fairly busy/committed band going on, but I'm feelilng lately like I really want a side project and I want it to be first-wave, 94-96 emo. I'm thinking influences like Mineral, Drive Like Jehu, The Promise Ring, Braid, Cap'n Jazz, Joan of Arc, Static Prevails/Clarity-era Jimmy Eat World. Some of the early emo intersection with post-rock like Ghosts and Vodka or Pele. Maybe even incorporate a little bit of the better parts of the second wave sound a la Hey Mercedes or The Life and Times. You know the deal (or you don't, in which case you're not interested).
