| Len User Info... | I’m a 41 year old guitar player looking to put together a cover band or join one. Yes, I know covers are lame and I can hear the laughter already, but I have zero interest in doing originals or “making it” as a musician. (It’s a bit late for that). I’m married with kids and a day job so free time is limited, but my goal is to have fun once a week doing high energy covers (anything from hard rock/metal to pop/punk to classic rock). As for ability, I’m an acceptable rhythm player and while I’m no shredder, I can handle the simpler leads. I have good gear and a PA. Any singers, bass players or drummers out there (male or female) with similar interests? Post a reply with your contact info or give me a shout at 475-1752. I am primarily a lead vocalist but also do some percussion (tambourine etc) and background vocals. I don't always have to be the centre of attention! I love all kinds of upbeat music from Rock to Pop to Country. Have had some experience with a Motown style band with Lebeau-Petersen Production's and am currently with their adult rock band workshop. | Len User Info... | Update: I've received some positive responses which is encouraging, as I was beginning to fear all those in the "older musician" category had given up looking here. I've connected with a bass player and possibly a drummer and we seem to be on the same page as far as what we want to play (hard rock/metal covers), so for now I'm going to devote my energy to this project and see what happens.
