I like all kindsa 'funky' things, tho I don't have much of any james brown, or chili peppers..or straight "funk" on the shelf.. I do have some jamiroquai around here tho, and I appreciate the funky chili peppers, more their older classic albums than the latest stuff. I'm kinda a natural funkster; once i figured out the 'basics' of drumming, I noticed I kinda gravitated towards heavy bass drum funky drummin'... I like old school funky, I like acid jazz, I like 'fusion', I like rowdy chili's funk, and all music with funky drums.. I also listen to reggae, jazz, rock, 'world', dub, downtempo, electronic music, etc.. anyways enuff for now, let me know if u end up needing a drummer or wanna join some funky musicians once -I- get something together... ;-) I'm 31 and have been drumming about a dozen years. | Mofo User Info... | sing da funk? I'm all about that, would love to try out the lungs and see how funky I can get...I'm no James Brown but would love to try it out. Funk isnt what I would say is my vocal style, but I am adaptable and like the drummer above can certainly appreciate the funk.
