| Steve User Info... |  We are writing and recording original material so we want someone who can contribute creatively. If you have your own material we might consider including it but it has to fit the genre that we are working in which is Funk-inspired psychedelic rock. If you want to hear our music, we have a couple of tunes posted on this site under band listings. Just search for "GOO" Our influences include The Flaming Lips, Scissor Sisters, Talking Heads, Frank Zappa, Phish, Pixies, Modest Mouse, Beck, and anyone who makes rock and roll for people with brains. Again, this is about having fun but we work hard at this and we care about the craft so we are only interested in working with like minded people. Also, we need someone who realizes that quality requires patience, compromise, and a willingness to make mistakes and learn from them. We have been working on this project for a year already and we are going to take whatever time it takes to get it right. We have partners and home lives that come first so it may take some time but perseverence is half the battle. We already know what success tastes like and we know what it looks like.
