| SUDS User Info... | Gypsy Jazz. Amazing music. MY name Michael, 16, play lead guitar. Started a dou with a violinist (Gypsy fiddler). We've got a mean sound but want it a bit fuller. Primalary we're looking for a upright bassist that can read or understand chord changes, possibly improvise and really digs Gypsy Jazz. And when I say Gypsy Jazz I mean guys like Django Reinhardt, Marc Atkinson Trio (From Victoria), and any other Jazz Trios. If you can play Jazz and read charts, and you have not yet played with a Gypsy group but love Gypsy Jazz, thats OK. Other info, preferably around like ages, Say 14-20. And also if there is anyone that wants to be the main focus on rythm guitar. Gotta to know chords tho. We would also be looking to perform so be prepared for an audience. I have no formal training with jazz and I can't read music, but I can improvise well and I can read tablature or whatever, I learn things easily.
