| -- MikE -- User Info... | Hey, so we're a band from Victoria called Hollydene. Our influences are pretty broad, but include acts like Radiohead, Muse, the Smashing Pumpkins, Thrice, Brand New, Matt Good Band etc... Kinda melodic rock ranging from really slow to quite heavy. We have a five song EP already recorded, and lots of new material as well. Basically, we just need a creative drummer to finish off the line-up. We're all easy going, in our twenties, and currently practice at projam spaces. If you're interested, please repy or email me at [email protected]. cheers. | -- MikE -- User Info... | Well, basically how everyone meshes is more important than skill alone to us. We're not looking for the fastest drummer, or the one who can play in every time signature etc etc. We're more interested in someone who can improvise cool parts, and work with us on new songs. If you can play in 5/2 time with a double kick all for ya, but if you can make up an interesting beat all the better. For starters take a listen to the demo songs on myspace. If you think the tempo and general feel is your kind of thing, I'm sure you'd do fine. Most of the time we just need a good solid rhythm. - Thu, 3 Nov 2005 1:48am | ||
