| london drugged User Info... | so i'm starting a band (a music band...a rock music band), and need a bassist and a drummer. the bands that have been a major influence on my playing lately are jimi hendrix (especially his work in the band of gypsies), black sabbath, and the white stripes. obviously there are dozens of other bands out there that have infuenced me, but the 3 i mentioned is a sound i wanna go for. anyways, i don't want to work in retail for the rest of my life, and i don't wanna go to school, i just wanna fuckin rock and make records. i'm 21 years old, and if you're around the same age, oozing with creativity and want to make music for a living, then give me a call 380-1752 (HAVE to be 19-26) i won't be checking back here often, so i suggest calling but if you don't know how to use a phone you can also email me at [email protected] even though i probably won't check it talk to ya later matt - Sat, 10 Sep 2005 5:54pm | ||
| jotaerre User Info... | Hey nice taste, Band of Gypsies is incredible, if only for the solo on Message to Love (which is the hottest #$#$@$ 'ing guitar solo ever played). If you know what I mean say 'Amen'. But on the serious side, work on a decent way to make a living b/c waiting for the rock & roll bus will leave you 41 and stuck in retail (and that REALLY sucks). Or learn Air Supply and play weddings if you want to survive on music bro'. I think it's called "Who Knows" ... or something. don't know bout the 'white stripes' but the other two interest me... interesting how 21 yr olds always wanna 'fuckin' rock and make records'...
