| You Enjoy Myself User Info... | I need to find a bass player and lead guitarist for a folk/roots-rock group that I'm putting together. You should be an intermediate to advanced player who has your own gear and be able to commit to 1-2 practices per week. If you're able to sing harmonies or hop on other instruments from time to time, that's a huge plus too. I have a jam spot that's free, so you wouldn't need to pitch in for that. Also, I'm 25 and looking for people close to that age. The band will hopefully sound like some of my influences, including The Band, JJ Cale, The Deep Dark Woods, and Timber Timbre to name a few. | You Enjoy Myself User Info... | In a lead guitarist I'm looking for someone who can fill out the songs with riffs, runs, counterparts and different voicings of the chords I'll be playing. Also, the ability to play a soulful solo is a must. That doesn't mean that you have to be the fastest player by any means, but if you have a good 'feel', then you'll do. You would need to have your own gear though, including an electric guitar of some sorts. If you're still interested, post some samples of your playing here, or email them to me.
