Nathaniel Krikke is a multi-instrumentalist who plays a music on the crossroads of old-time country, blues and gospel. He began playing the drums at a young age and has taken some university level courses in the area of jazz percussion. His true passion, however, has always been songwriting; writing lyrics that are soul-jerking, blunt and honest. Nathaniel does not see his music as a success until it has completely convinced the audience of the message that is behind the lyrics. His influences range from the more obvious Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash and Corb Lund, to heavy metal groups Mastodon and Iron Maiden, to Duke Ellington and King Oliver's Creole Jazz Band.
