Barry Carlson

A refugee from Prairie winters, Barry began busking in the streets of Vancouver in the late 1960's with the High Street Band before busking was commonplace. Or legal. A couple of brushes with the law and the Vancouver monsoons drove him indoors to a life of bar bands in rooms that really should have had chicken wire around the stage.

He now lives in Victoria and plays solo folk and blues, and instrumental early Celtic styles.
