| Clayton User Info... | Gotta Getta Gimmick Productions of Victoria is seeking a versitile Trumpet player to play in the upcoming production of "Arlen in the Gardens", a Harold Arlen Revue at Butchart Gardens. The show plays August 19th and 23, 2005. There will be a total of three payed rehearsals, including one sits and one playthrough with singers. You must be able to read music well, work in a combo and have a knack for improvising. Interested: Please send an email detailing your experience and ability, your availability and anything else relevant... Rehearsals will be on/around August 11-13 and August 18 as a dress. Harold Arlen is celebrating his centennial this year (well, we are, he is dead). Most easily recognizable as the composer of The Wizard of Oz, Arlen composed many many musicals for Broadway and Film, having his songs sung by the likes of Judy Garland, Ella Fitzgerald, and of course, Frank. Gotta Getta Gimmick Productions was created in 2002, and has produced musical theatre and musical shows in Victoria and surrounding areas.
